Privacy and Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

This website uses cookies, which are intended to make it work properly and to optimize navigation for its users. Since the functions of the site can only be used after accepting the terms in this policy, it explains what cookies are, how they are used and for what purposes. It also explains the processing of data entered voluntarily under art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, so before giving your consent, we invite you to read all of this document.

What are cookies?

A "cookie" is a text file that the site sends to your computer or other internet-connected device to uniquely identify your browser or to save information or settings in the browser.

How many types of cookies are there?

There are two categories of cookies: technical cookies and profiling cookies.

Technical cookies are generally necessary for the website to work properly and to allow navigation; without them you may be unable to view pages correctly or use some services. For example, a technical cookie is essential for keeping a user logged in throughout a visit to a website, or for storing language and display settings, and so on. Technical cookies can be further divided into:

  • Navigation cookies: ensure normal navigation and use of the website (for example, making it possible to make a purchase or log in to reserved areas);
  • Analytics cookies: treated as technical cookies only where used directly by the site operator to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the site.
  • Functionality cookies: allow users to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language or products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided.

Profiling cookies are used to profile users and to send advertising messages in line with the preferences they have shown while browsing.

Cookies can also be classified as:

  • Session cookies: deleted immediately when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies: unlike session cookies, they remain in the browser for a certain period of time. They are used, for example, to recognize the device connecting to the site, making authentication easier for the user.
  • First-party cookies: generated and managed directly by the operator of the website the user is browsing.
  • Third-party cookies: generated and managed by parties other than the operator of the website the user is browsing (as a rule, under a contract between the website owner and the third party).

What types of cookies do we use?

We use technical cookies and third-party profiling cookies intended to ensure the proper functioning of our site, without which your browsing experience would not be pleasant. Cookies are also used for commercial communication purposes in various advertising forms, such as banners, including in relation to the User's interests.

This does not mean that all Personal Data are used for this purpose. Data and conditions of use are set out below.

Some of the services listed below may use Cookies to identify the User or use behavioral retargeting, that is, displaying personalized advertisements based on the User's interests and behavior, also detected outside this Application. For more information, we suggest checking the privacy policies of the respective services.

Which third-party services do we use?

The third-party services used on our site (us.negozimoda.net) are the following:

Google AdSense
Google AdSense is an advertising service provided by Google Inc. This service uses the Doubleclick Cookie, which tracks the use of this Application and the User's behavior in relation to advertisements, products and services offered.
